Before sunrise, a young sunflower looks to the east – towards the golden sunrise. As the sun moves from east to west, the flower also turns west.

When the sun goes down, the flower returns to its original position to the east and waits anxiously to begin the cycle the next day.

No flower can lift someone’s spirits quite like sunflowers.

The “Sunflower Gold” by Monika Petersen is bright and cheery, and as warm and inviting as the sweet summer sun. With brilliant golden petals it has an unmistakable sun-like appearance which is associated with the desire to seek light and happiness.
