This beautiful piece of art is inspired by the dried Chinese lantern seed pod skeleton from Physalis Alkekengi plants.
The hanging Chinese lantern is carefully handpainted and assembled in our workshop in Copenhagen, showcasing the expertise of the skilled woodcarver; Martin Grosen.
Available in two sizes ( medium and Large ) and with a choice of three chain lengths or custom measurements to suit your needs, this ornament can be hung on its own or grouped with other sizes for a playful and artistic display.

The artwork is packed in an especially made A4 size box to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Made responsibly

Monika Petersen’s artworks are created with a focus on sustainability. She creates all the Lino Prints by hand, and without using dangerous chemicals. The Lino blocks are cleaned in vegetable oil instead of toxic cleaners after printing. The oil makes the Lino more durable, and thereby ensures the optimal utilization of the materials.
